Retentive memory
Contents

1.Description

With this module, state values of a communication object are saved in a non-volatile memory (permanently). The value of the last telegram is always saved. During a restart of HS/FS, the value of the retentive memory is sent to the output.
Important
If the value of a CO connected with the module changes to 0, this change is not sent at the bus!
Note
Instead of using the module, the CO can be marked directly as retentive:
(Set "Expert->Master data->Communication object->Option " Retentive memory" to "Yes, save CO retentively".)
Note
The input and the output are usually assigned the same communication object.
