Expert - Wake On LAN

Workplaces (PCs) which are to be started by the HS/FS via Wake on LAN are created in this menu item.
In the PC this function must be enabled in the BIOS.

Designation

Designation of the PC. This designation is only used in the HS/FS Expert for precise identification.

Broadcast address

The Wake on LAN telegram is sent to this Broadcast address (e.g. 255.255.255.255 for a subnet mask 255.255.255.0)

IP port

The Wake on LAN telegram is sent to this port (e.g. 80)

MacID

The MAC address of the network participants (e.g. workstation PC) is entered here.
It is a twelve-figure hexadecimal number without hyphens (e.g. 004012A1B2E1).

1.Determination of the MacID under WINDOWS(TM)

One's own MacID can be determined using the command ipconfig /all in the prompt ("DOSbox", cmd.exe).
The physical address is the MacID.
