The HS/FS reaches systems lying outside the local address space via these gateways.

2.Gateway and DNS server
Default gateway
Is used to enter the IP address for the default gateway you want to add. This is the address of a local IP router which is located in the same network as this computer and which is used for forwarding data to destinations outside the local network.
The numbers 0 to 255 are permitted in this fields.

Field for the IP address of the preferred or primary DNS server for this HS/FS.
This server is used first to resolve DNS names requested by this computer and which cannot be resolved with local name resolution information to IP addresses.

The HS/FS does not support an Internet connection to a portal or www.dyndns.org.
Maintain connection to the portal
The HS/FS connects to the Internet automatically after start-up and maintains the connection.

The HS/FS only connects to the portal if the user has been configured in such a way that accessing a PIN (via a phone call to the HS/FS) is to establish the connection.
