This text describes how the HS/FS determines the statuses of the communication objects.
During operation, the HS/FS does not retentively save statuses. If required, the statuses can be saved retentively.

1.KNX "external" communication objects
The current value is determined as follows:
If the "Query during starting" flag is set in the communication object, the HS/FS reads out the current value from the KNX on start-up.
If the value cannot be read, the "Init. value" in the communication object is used.
In ongoing operation, the HS/FS monitors the KNX and includes the most recently recorded value of a group address in the process map.
This also applies to the transmission of a value by the HS/FS to the KNX.

2.Summary
A value on the KNX can be read automatically on start-up or in response to the "Query" command!
