1.General information
The data is saved permanently (retentively) within a ring memory. The memory is similar to a table that is made up of lines and columns. It can be configured for every archive listed below.
Important
With the exception of the camera archives, the first column always contains the date and time of saving and is not included in the calculation of the limit values for HomeServer and FacilityServer.
The maximum specifications listed in the following tables are outer limits. The specifications do not represent any characteristics with regard to memory capacity. No larger values can be used in HS/FS and HS/FS Expert. Therefore the memory capacity can vary depending on the data to be saved and the compression methods used!
The limits are as follows and the first that takes affect will apply. The limits are identical for the HomeServer and the FacilityServer.

2.Data archives
ALL means that the specified limit value is the total value of all archives created.
Limit value | |
---|---|
Ring memory (max. lines) | 200,000 |
1 archive - max. columns | 128 |
1 archive - max. columns*lines | 400,000 |
ALL archives - max. columns*lines | 4,000,000 |
3.Message archives
ALL means that the specified limit value is the total value of all archives created.
Limit value | |
---|---|
1 archive - ring memory | 100,000 |
ALL archives - ring memory | 400,000 |
4.Camera archives
For the camera archives, the specified limit values apply both to a single archive and to all archives together, i.e. a single archive can be created with the values specified below, or several smaller archives created where the values added up may not exceed the respective limit value.
Depending on which unit you select for Max. memory (bytes / KB / MB), the above-mentioned limit values apply to the selected unit. The following applies: 1 MB = 1.024 KB = 1024*1024 bytes.
