You can have technical documentation for your project created fully automatically here. All settings of your project are listed in detail and saved in the HTML format. Here you can choose whether only an HTML file is created which contains everything, or whether a separate HTML file is created for each point.

10.Archive

Archives the project currently open. A ZIP file (PROJECT NAME.zip) is created which consists of PROJECT NAME.hs3, the subdirectory PROJECT NAME and, as an option, the directory "quad_config".

10.1.Project (with user passwords)

All user passwords are written to the archive.

10.2.Project (without user passwords)

Empty strings are written to the archive instead of all user passwords.

10.3.Project+QuadClient (with user passwords)

All settings made in the QC Config are archived. In addition to the project directory mentioned above, the "quad_config" directory is also archived. As any passwords defined in the QC Config cannot be replaced with empty strings, it is only possible here to archive with passwords.

10.4.Open archive folder

Clicking this menu item creates a new folder called "My Archive" in "[My Documents]\[Company]\HS+FS Expert [version number]\".
Everything stored in this folder is packed into the ZIP archive file when you archive any project. The folder in this ZIP file is assigned the name "[project name]\hs_myarchive".

When importing a project archive file which contains the "[project name]\hs_myarchive" folder, the project is imported normally, i.e., no folder called "[project name]\hs_myarchive" is created in the project directory. However, if the "[My Documents]\[Company]\HS+FS Expert [version number]\My Archive" folder does not yet exist, it is also created and the contents of "[project name]\hs_myarchive" are copied into it.
If files from the archive folder "[project name]\hs_myarchive" already exist under "[My Documents]\[Company]\HS+FS Expert [version number]\My Archive", a standard Windows file dialogue appears for each file for overwriting this file.
Note
The "My Archive" folder is intended primarily for installers who can store an Expert setup there, for example, in order to transfer it automatically to a customer when transferring an archived project.

The name of the archive folder used in "[My Documents]\[Company]\HS+FS Expert [version number]\" differs according to the language configured in Expert.
The folder of the language currently configured is always used when archiving/importing.
Important
This directory is not intended for storing all of your archived projects!

The total size of an archived project plus all the files stored in the "[My Documents]\[Company]\HS+FS Expert [version number]\My Archive" folder must not exceed 2 GB!

11.Import project

A standard Windows file dialogue window opens in which you can import a project previously exported as a ZIP archive.

12.Determine project ID

The current project ID is determined and displayed.
You can look up the project ID of the project currently active on the HS/FS on the Debug page.

13.Exit

Exits Expert.
