Expert - Sending via FTP

The parameters for file transfer from the HS/FS via FTP (file transfer protocol) are managed in this mask.

Designation

Designation of the transfer in the project.

Time period

The period during which data is to be sent. For example, see the FAQs for this topic. The period is always converted to seconds.
These selection fields are not available in all masks!

Max. lines

The maximum number of lines to be sent. For example, see the FAQs for this topic. This field is not available in all masks!

Format

The data is sent in this format. The formats HTML, XML and CSV are available.
html structured is also available for the KNX Monitor settings.

Sorting

Sorting of the data selected above (by period of time and/or lines) is set here.

Decimal separator

The character to be used as a decimal separator can be specified here.

FTP server

The FTP server on which the data is to be stored is assigned here.
The FTP server is created in the Master data\Project\Project settings\Network\FTP menu item.

Path - Path/File name

Dead time (in sec.)

This time prevents data from being transferred at excessively short intervals.
Once a file is transferred, the period of time entered here must elapse before another data transfer request is accepted.

Max. age (in sec.)

The maximum age of an upcoming transfer is entered here. If the period of time is exceeded (e.g. due to continuous unavailability of the server), the transfer expires and is not carried out again.

Compress

YES: The data is sent in ZIP format.
