1.Creation of the import file, example for ETS 2 Version 1.1 B:
- Step 1:
- In the ETS, open the project which you want to adopt in HS/FS Expert.
- From the main menu bar, select "Filter project/print data". - Step 2:
- The window "Print data selection" opens. Select "Selected" under type, and "Physical address", "Description", and "Object data" under data fields.
- Confirm your selection with OK. - Step 3:
- Go to the group address display. Select "Project/Print" in the main menu bar. - Step 4:
- The "Print" window opens. Activate the checkbox "Output in file".
- Now confirm with OK.
- A new window opens. Give the print file a name here. This should have the ending ".txt". - Step 5:
- Switch to HS/FS Expert. Create a new project, or open an already existing one, into which you wish to import data from the ETS.
- Open the "Communication objects" window.
- Select the EIB communication objects. Actuate the "Import" button.
- A mask opens. Assign here the text file that you created in the ETS.
- Click "Open". - Step 6:
- Now select the options. - Step 7:
- Confirm the import by clicking the "OK" button.
- The print file is imported.
Note
Existing group addresses in a project are not changed.
