The graphs are defined in this menu item. They can be used in the menu and in the visualisation. The graphs are generated from archive data (time on x-axis, respective measured values on y-axis).
Up to six lines can be displayed at the same time.
Two different graph types are possible.
The contents are defined in the Archive program item. The data is collected in the archives.

Note
If the required area is greater than the available area due to the parameters, only the top, left-hand part of the graph is displayed. When using the graphs in a visualisation area, we recommend using the HS client.
1.Data
General information on the graph.
Graph type
The basic graph type is selected here.
- Min/Max
Only the minimum or maximum values based on the time segment are displayed.
This type only allows the display of one measured value series in the graph, and therefore also no second y-axis can be used.
The values are displayed in the form of a bar graph. The average value of the segment is indicated by a dot on the bar.
Note
The colour and size of the dot symbol and the bar can be set.
- Line
This type enables up to six line graphs to be displayed in a graph at the same time.
The HS/FS determines the maximum and minimum values of all measured values when the graph is created and generates a corresponding y-axis. Up to two y-axes are possible in a graph (Y1 on left, Y2 on right in graph). Each line can be assigned to a y-axis. Optionally, the min/max values can be adapted for both y-axes.
Number of segments
The number of segments on the x-axis is specified here. A segment corresponds to a period in minutes.
Tick format
The labelling of the time stamp on the x-axis can be set here:
%d is the day, %m is the month, %y is the year, %H is the hour and %M is the minute. This time stamp would be displayed for a tick (see following field).

Tick interval (in minutes)
A marker is set on the x-axis in this time interval.
A tick interval equal to 0 inserts a label only at the beginning and end of the x-axis.
A tick interval equal to 0 inserts a label only at the beginning and end of the x-axis.
Min/max 1st Y axis
The minimum and maximum values for the left y-axis can be specified here.
This specification is ignored if values should be displayed that are above the maximum value specification or below the minimum value specification.
This specification is ignored if values should be displayed that are above the maximum value specification or below the minimum value specification.
Note
This item is only released for processing under the following conditions:
Examples:
- Limit values are 0 and 100, all values to be displayed are between 47 and 53.
In this case the limits are fixed to 0 and 100. - Limit values are 0 and 100, all values to be displayed are between -20 and 120.
The limits are automatically adjusted if the first value no longer is to be displayed within the specification (value either lower than 0 or higher than 100).
Min/max 2nd Y axis
The minimum and maximum values for the right y-axis can be specified here.
For behaviour and examples, see Min/max 1st Y axis.
For behaviour and examples, see Min/max 1st Y axis.
Note
This item is only released for processing under the following conditions:
- "Line" has to have been selected as graph type.
- An archive has to have been selected.
- A column has to have been selected in at least two of the tabs 1-6.
- In at least one of the tabs 1-6 with a selected column, the 1st y-axis" has to have been selected as axis.
- In at least one of the tabs 1-6 with a selected column, the "2nd y-axis" has to have been selected as axis.
1.1.Tabs 1 through 6
A measured value series can be defined for each tab. Up to 6 measured value series are possible in a graph.
Note
More than one measured value series per graph is only possible with the "line" graph type.
Type
Average/Minimum/Maximum:
From which value or values the data points of the measured value series are generated is specified here.
From which value or values the data points of the measured value series are generated is specified here.
2.Texts and axes
The axes are labelled and the line thickness of the x- and y-axes are specified in this mask. The field designations are self-explanatory.
3.Graph area
The parameters of the graph background are specified in this mask. The reference is the entire area of the graph including the label.
Background
The colour of the background of the current graph can be assigned via a selection box by clicking.
Factor (in %)
Portion of the graph on the entire area of the display. The factor refers to just the graph itself without axes and key. The zero line is part of the axes.
Note
If the debug page shows the error message "Graph (...) too large, nominal: x1,y1 / actual: x2,y2" then use this factor to reduce the size of the graph in relation to the graph area.
Min./Max. Average
Only available for graphs of the "min/max" graph type.
Colour of the horizontal minimum and maximum line limits.
Colour of the horizontal minimum and maximum line limits.
Min./Max. (in pixels)
Only available for graphs of the "min/max" graph type.
Length of the horizontal minimum and maximum line limits.
