This text describes how the HS/FS determines the statuses of the communication objects.
During operation, the HS/FS does not retentively save statuses. If required, the statuses can be saved retentively.

1.EIB "External" communication objects
The current value is determined as follows:
If the communication object is set with the flag "Query during starting", then the HS/FS reads the current value from the EIB on startup.
If the value cannot be read, then the "Init. value" in the communication object is used.
In ongoing operation, the HS/FS monitors the EIB and includes the most recently recorded value of a group address in the process map.
This also applies to the transmission of a value by the HS/FS to the EIB.

2.Summary
A value on the EIB can be automatically read on start-up or in response to the command "Query"!
