1.Description
The module is used to control fan coils in conjunction with fans in the heating and cooling operating modes in the Automatic or Manual mode. The control of the display elements and the basic operation were modelled on car air conditioners.
Manual mode: Following release, the user can directly specify the fan speed (Input 8) or can switch off the fan immediately (1 signal at Input 11). Via the inputs Speed + or Speed –, it is possible to switch between the fan speeds 1-3 and Fan Off as desired. When Automatic mode is activated, a 1 signal on the input Speed– or the input "Switch off" or the direct speed specification results in switching over to Manual mode. The correcting variables are based on the inputs 5-7. With Speed 0 active, the correcting variable is 0, while at Speed 1 the correcting variable is set to the value of Input 5 (at Speed 2 to the value of Input 6 and at Speed 3 to the value of Input 6).
Automatic mode: Automatic mode is activated via Input 12. In Automatic mode the set fan speed is dependent on the respective correcting input variable.
Basic information: If the main release takes place after a restart, Automatic mode is automatically active. After another main release without restarting the HS/FS, the operating mode (speed) before the lock-out is active. To illustrate the processes, the module contains not only the 1-bit status outputs, but also a 1-byte output. The values sent via this output can be converted into fixed texts by means of comparators.
